Happy 4th of July America!

Welcome Everyone!

Happy 4th of July America and to all Americans! Today is a good day to examine & reflect on the current state of our country - the economy & political situation - lack of leadership while the world which use to look to the USA for leadership, now only hopes for the reawakening of the "sleeping giant."

After taking inventory = ask yourself is this really the America you once knew, what do your special talents offer to get the USA back on track? How will they inspire others -American and around the world-  If you are not satisfied with the current situation, the biggest thing you can do is pursue your goals in spite of obstacles,  then vote in 2016. The 2016 election will allow us to take back our country, our national pride, our economy and vote in new political leaders who represent their constituents, not fill their personal bank accounts at our literal expense. Truth be told and facts be presented, the last 2-3 elections (national), voter apathy was somewhere around 60% - certainly had this high percentage of voters turned out, things today would be drastically different. If voters did not turn out because they didn't  like the choices, the they must ask themselves today how much do they like today's results?

I do not usually follow soccer, however I watched the past several women's world championship playoffs. All the teams from all countries are playing extremely well, yet there can only be one "winner" from each match. I do not see any "loser" in any of the matches , only both teams played extremely well and one bested the other. The team which didn't prevail, should hold their heads high - not ashamed that they "lost" as should their hosting countries since these players were both the best from that country and represent that country. There is nothing to be ashamed or down about. Like life, events are placed in your path for learning so the eventual objective is accomplished. I know no one of great success that didn't "fail" many times before eventually prevailing. Look at Abraham Lincoln's life - failed at everything until being elected into office at the time of greatest crisis in American history- placed there at the right time to re unite America....

What really struck me when watching the American team was when they sang our national anthem with such pride - really I could feel their pride. Even as well as they played, their singing with great pride our national anthem really moved me - almost as though they sang at the time British ships invaded and attacked Baltimore / Fort McHenry = "and our flag was still there."

I was so moved by their pride in our country, I went to this link http://www.music.army.mil/music/nationalanthem/ and now will post article below:

The U.S. National Anthem
"The Star Spangled Banner", was ordered played at military and naval occasions by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916, but was not designated the national anthem by an Act of Congress until 1931.
Listen to The Star Spangled Banner (MP3)
Band Only (908 KB)Band and Chorus (1.6 MB)Chorus only (1.5 MB)
The words were written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key, who had been inspired by the sight of the American flag still flying over Fort McHenry after a night of heavy British bombardment. The text was immediately set to a popular melody of the time, "To Anacreon in Heaven."
The National Anthem consists of four verses. On almost every occasion only the first verse is sung.

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave'
From the terror of flight and the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

My recollection of history is Francis Scott Key was a prisoner aboard a British war ship. He observed the battle thorough a port hole and during the night; was so moved at dawn by a remaining. tattered American flag, he then wrote the National anthem. This same flag was on display ( and may still be as it was removed at one point for restoration ) in Washington, DC at one Smithsonian Museum of American History.

Today The British remain our enduring, great ally ( of the people anyway! ) and I find it ironic the match was moved to July 5th ( perhaps that famous British "dry" sense of humor, but who needs diplomatic incidents in this day & age?).

*** Addition / correction - When I watched the USA vs. Germany match last Sunday, they announced USA would face England tonight (Sunday 7/5/2015). Instead I watched USA defeat Japan. Make allowances for above paragraph - thank you.

Americans, we have a lot of work ahead of us - it all begins on an individual level now in the present, that we push ahead and pursue our individual Intuition driven mission, then speak as one people in the next election - 2016.  We must move from current economic, political and especially social enslavement forward together, reclaiming our freedoms, economy and our national pride - all taken from us (at present). This battle will neither be fought or won as the 1814 Fort McHenry battle, but rather through the 2016 election. We dare not be complacent or we lose all that was paid for over 2 centuries in blood - Americans sacrificing their lives giving up all their possessions so that we today might have freedom and a better life, free choice. Unfortunately all fought & sacrificed for is nearly lost, but there is still opportunity to correct this and with that opportunity the challenge with responsibility on an individual basis = "we the people" must seize the reins now, on an individual basis first then unite and speak again as one nation  free from "politically imposed chaos & ruin."

At the possibility of appearing redundant, I remind everyone of the mission of the flight of the "RenewedAmericanSpirit" to awaken all Americans, renew our national pride and especially unity ushering in overnight prosperity -Industrial & Economic Revolution. We then have the foundation to rectify the current shared nightmare, get back to the American Constitution and everything this nation was founded on, stood for and must now reclaim....
